Organization's mission:

The mission of The Arbor School is to provide a customized therapeutic/educational experience to help every child achieve their full potential in life.

Brief Description of Organization's Programs & Services

The Arbor School (previously known as LifeSkills Academy) was created to meet the needs of our students through the use of a multi-sensory developmental approach that combines therapies such as occupational, speech, language, music and art with multi-intelligence based academic learning. We believe that each of our students has the capacity for great things and encourage their abilities through the use of s Socratic questioning approach that promotes reasoning and problem solving, and allows for deeper learning. Arbor School serves students ages 5 -22 with programs such as Primary and High School, Transition to Work/College/Independent Living, and Music, Art, Speech, and Occupational Therapy, as well as Social Language/Social Skills training and support.
