Certificate Programs

EBI's certificate programs provide nonprofit professionals with the opportunity to specialize in either nonprofit leadership or digital fundraising.  Both programs require participants to complete required workshops within a set period of time.  Neither certificate is accredited or includes transferable credits towards a degree program at Rollins College.

Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership

Today’s nonprofit leaders face challenges that require them to think and navigate differently.  With greater competition for resources, heightened scrutiny over organizational impact and an everchanging landscape of community needs & opportunities, today’s nonprofit leader must be more business savvy, more emotionally intelligent and more astute as to how to navigate the politics of maximizing their organizational impact while balancing mission vs. margin.

EBI’s new Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership’s 9-month cohort experience combines the richness of peer learning and the applicability of real-world scenarios.  Participants will gain a refreshed understanding of the foundational elements that define what a sustainable nonprofit could and should look like in today’s world and the role leadership can play in defining its success.

EBI is now accepting applications for the 2025 IN-PERSON cohort and the 2025 VIRTUAL cohort.

Certificate in Digital Fundraising

Thanks to a partnership with The Fund Raising School at the Lily Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University Indianapolis, the Edyth Bush Institute is excited to offer a Certificate in Digital Fundraising.

The Certificate in Digital Fundraising consists of three courses offered in a live, synchronous format. Each course includes 3-4  sessions, and the duration of each session is just three hours. The curriculum ranges from the basics of optimizing social media for effective fundraising to next-level digital techniques and strategies to expand your organization’s fundraising abilities. This certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all three key workshops.

Certificate earners will receive a certificate from both the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership with the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and The Fund Raising School at the Lily Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University Indianapolis.  Neither certificate is accredited or includes transferable credits towards a degree program.
