Cat Baldwin, Virtual Community Specialist (She/They)
Cat is the Virtual Community Specialist for the Edyth Bush Institute. She directly supports the Empowering Good Project with all technical and virtual assistance. Cat has 9 years of dedicated leadership experience in serving the community. Her experience in nonprofit includes serving with an organization that supported children of incarcerated parents. As a seasoned administrator supporting technical customer centric roles she fell in love with the non-profit sector and became a mentor. Serving as a mentor to adolescents she has helped to motivate them and to break the stereotypical barriers and achieve the impossible.
Cat also has experience in serving as a Correctional Release Officer for Orange County Corrections and for the Verizon corporation. These roles have provided Cat with leadership and relationship driven skills that have influenced her nonprofit volunteering efforts to continue serving as a mentor. Cat holds an Associate degree from Tallahassee Community College. When she is not working, she enjoys going to Disney with her family, staying current on world issues, and allowing her creativity to shine while playing Animal Crossing.
