Andrew Smith, Grants & Special Projects Manager
Andrew Smith is the Grants and Special Projects Manager at the Edyth Bush Institute, overseeing the development of special educational experience initiatives. His current project is the Empowering Good program, being offered to local, diverse grass-roots non-profits in a grant partnership with Orange County.
Andrew has years of experience both in nonprofit project-based leadership roles as well as educational development and training roles. He has worked locally with iDignity and most recently with Community Resource Network as their Director of Faith Partnerships, seeking to build collaborative church-nonprofit-community relationships for increased impact in our region. Andrew is passionate about the potential of every person (and every organization) to contribute to the good of the community and the power that learning and coaching can play in the growth process. When not at work, Andrew loves outdoor activities, like disc golf and trail biking, and learning to play new instruments he hasn’t tried before.
