Reimagining Nonprofit Certificates

As we think about EBI’s updated vision and mission and the impact the vision and mission has on the depth and breadth of our educational experiences, taking a step back and asking the following questions will be key to bringing both to life:

What should future educational experiences at EBI entail? Should we blend the best of virtual and in-person interactions, infusing our programs with dynamic lectures, engaging discussions, and hands-on experiences? Or should it be something else entirely?

Which topics and areas of focus will empower us to make the most tangible impact on the nonprofit and philanthropic landscape? 

What are the aspirations and expectations of our participants?

Embracing these questions will allow us to take our time and do this right.

Our first step towards a reimagined EBI educational experience is to pause applications for both our Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Certificate in Fundraising & Development programs. This pause grants us the opportunity to carefully craft new pathways to success, tailored to meet the evolving needs of our learners and the sector at large, while re-imagining the expectations of our non-credit bearing certificate programs and determining the right certificates to offer.

In November 2024, we will introduce an updated curriculum and new non-credit bearing certificate programs, all of which will continue to add value to the quality and impact of the work you and your organization do. For those currently enrolled in our previous certificate programs, your educational journey remains a priority, and we're committed to ensuring a seamless transition to our new offerings.
