With so many options when comes to social media for your nonprofit, how do you know which ones are right for your organization? Should you get on Snapchat? Instagram? Facebook? Is only one social media enough? Am I on the right one?

This two-hour workshop will cover the most popular social media channels, the main audiences for each one, and how nonprofits are using those social media channels effectively.

An in-workshop checklist will allow you identify which social media channels are right for your organization and your message, which ones can wait, and which ones are not a good fit.

Learning objectives:

  1. Learn the different types of social media channels
  2. Identify which ones are best for your nonprofit


Tuition: $50 members, $100 non-members

Instructor: Brian Schulte, Marketing Manager, Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership

Brian Schulte is currently the Marketing Manager for the Edyth Bush Institute. Brian has been in marketing since graduating with a marketing degree from the University of Central Florida during the internet boom of the 1990s. Brian’s marketing experience includes working at a marketing agency with a variety of clients, being the marketing director at a nonprofit organization, and marketing in higher education at two colleges in Florida.
