You will also explore strategies that ensure major gift success. Organizational readiness is imperative for implementing the steps that lead to major giving.

You will learn how to:

  1. Involve major gift investors in ways that are meaningful to them.
  2. Integrate volunteers into your major gift team.
  3. Evaluate prospect research findings to rank prospective major gift investors and develop strategies for individualized campaign plans.
  4. Ask prospective investors for financial investments in ways that meet their needs.
  5. Develop strong, professional relationships with investors through extraordinary stewardship that focuses on a high rate of return on their investment.
