Learn how to grow a robust major gift program in this interactive lunch presentation. Along with trend analysis, this session will focus on best practices and proven strategies to turn annual givers into major givers. Participants will learn successful strategies to identify new prospects, grow donors from annual fund to major gifts and cultivate existing donors as part of a successful major gifts program.

Mr. Winkler will share major giving best practices and answer important questions such as:

· How, what and why are donors giving today?

· When should a gift be classified as a major gift?

· How do we avoid asking for too little?

· How many personal visits should an effective development officer make each month?

· How does online giving fit into the major donor equation?

· What is the best way to effectively plan and evaluate a comprehensive major gift program with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly metrics?

Mr. Winkler is an Association of Fundraising Professionals Master Trainer and is accredited as a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
