Have you dreamed of taking your nonprofit organization to its next level of fundraising success and providing financial stability? In this highly interactive workshop you will learn strategies to start and sustain an annual fund campaign. Creating a successful annual fund campaign will generate reliable unrestricted income, develop a base of loyal donors, and position your organization for major gifts, capital campaigns and planned giving.

The annual fund is an organized effort to obtain gifts on a yearly basis to support, at least in part, general operations of a nonprofit organization.

The annual fund often represents a large percentage of a nonprofit organization's income and is designed to acquire, renew, and grow financial support primarily from individual donors.

This workshop addresses beginning to intermediate level instruction for annual fund campaigns. Seasoned fundraising professionals may see this as a refresher course.

The workshop is an elective option for the Certificate in Fundraising and Development.

Past participants rate the workshop highly:

"Interactive, on point, and well laid out”

You will learn:

  • Purpose and goals of Annual Fund
  • Roles and responsibilities of staff and volunteers
  • Strategies to strengthen the case for support
  • Effective annual giving strategies and role of social media
